Bonjour mes amis,
Jean Sibelius rules all, in case you didn't know. He wrote many songs in the romantic period of classical composition. I've not heard them all, though the majority of which I have heard is great. This piece, "Romance (Op. 24, No. 9)" takes the cake, and the cake is delicious. I played this a few months back and recorded it to see where I fucked up at and what not, but it's kind of difficult to tell since the microphone was extremely shitty and cloaks all of the differing sequences of dynamic change. Overall, maybe like two fuck-ups. And yes, sir/madame, it is not much without dynamics, but I feel like submitting something today, and so I will.
So here you are: the entire 4:30 minute song, rare dynamic changes, rather rubato, complete with the properly-fitting "damn I'm good" at the end. Enjoy, or try.
PEACE BITCHES.
